Vintage Gardening

I have something brewing in my creative brain at the moment... but I can't seem to pull it off on paper yet. I was speaking to a friend on the weekend who made me think about a few things / consolidate them in my mind. Mostly about the importance of being true to yourself... anyway it's all still brewing in my mind for a new blog that I PROMISE is coming to you soon!

I had a busy weekend in which I got accustomed to twitter @emyawards,
bought 2 new/old dresses at the Brisbane Vintage Fashion Fair,
had a greedy face filling of yum cha with some old animation friends,
doggy-sat a pomeranian who reminded me strangely of these vintage fox furs (see below),
helped to keep my New Years Resolution alive by renovating and planting my garden with: lettuce, perpetual spinach, rocket, coriander, baby eggplant, heirloom tomatoes, and marigolds (to help keep the pests away). This will add to my basil, parsley and rosemary. I also had a confrontation with a toad who likes to sit in my garden bed at night and a brutal meeting with a giant grasshopper, who I suspect has been eating the heads off all of my parsley...,
my weekend was finished with some Chorizo & Chimmi-chiri Uruguan style.

Here are a few photos of my weekend adventures - however I wish I'd taken more!
